Hi, I'm Dr. Mike Stranges
Experienced physical therapist and soccer trainer
As a physical therapist, I have been treating patients with a wide range of injuries but my speciality is treating knees. This could be ACL tears, knee locking and clicking, or just general pain with walking and hiking.
I am a former soccer player. Because of some serious injuries sustained while I was a teenager, I was not able to play in college. I was not given the resources to show me, how as an individual, I was to return to the field at the level I was used to.
Fast forward to 2020, with a focus to go above and beyond as a therapist, I focus on a whole body approach to not only recover from injuries but to prevent future injuries too.
I have always had a passion for soccer and wanted a way to keep players active and healthy. That is why I created my unique training experience which focuses on endurance, speed, agility, strength, conditioning and ball skills. Using knowledge from Exercise Science and Physical Therapy, I am not only keeping athletes strong and on the field but also preventing non-contact injuries from occurring.
In my free time, I can be found staying active in the Hudson Valley on the vast hiking trails.
